We can never outrun our choices and habits, they will always be with us and we will always have to answer for them; whether they are positive or negative, we will all eventually reap the fruits of our labour. One of the consequences of the global Covid-19 outbreak is that the normal school calendar has been thrown into disarray, especially lower primary. We live in a free and democratic country, one where the constitution is the supreme law, and a country where our commander in chief is elected by the people of the country. One never knows where they will end up, they never know what the outcome will be. I don’t know what normal is anymore; I have lost my bearings when it comes to what is normal and what isn’t. In the past month, there hasn’t been much to celebrate or even smile about in our national news, ever since the state of emergency lapsed, There is one thing I am certain of the most, and that is that life will always go on, no matter how difficult or how bad it looks right now; it will always go on and time will heal all wounds – it eventually does. All over the world, our country has been praised as having one of the best constitutions ever written, something our legal scholars and government takes great pride in. If there is something, we all learned this year it’s that the youth are very strong and capable, despite the hardships and unfortunate events that are happening and continue to happen, the youth somehow finda way to persevere and, in some cases, thrive. I have always been a firm believer in working hard and relying on yourself above everything and everyone, even God Count yourself lucky if you still have both your parents in your life, in fact, consider yourself blessed and one of God’s favourites if both your parents are alive and well. What would you trade to get in shape and have great health?
