Uncommon sense - Different strokes for different folks

Besides all concepts and other devious ways of deception and distraction, it should not be hard for a sane person to realise that the beauty of life is embedded in variety.  As much as some humans may bestow themselves with the entitlement of higher intelligence, be it for good or malice intent, nature always presents its ways in mostly what may appear to be trivial to a human eye.

As the saying goes, the road to hell is always paved with good intentions. The world is finding itself in unjustified confusion and self-destruction, not because humans are clueless, but simply because there are few whose intentions are cruel.  This may also be a true representation of the duality of life. That, as much as there are angels of light, there must also be angels of darkness.  Religiously put, just as there are God’s children, there must also be Satan’s children diligently doing their Father’s work. By now, one may be wondering or even be bewildered by this writing for the fact that it must be written from a different world or much worse, deem it as mere hallucinations.  This would not be a surprise though, but rather a confirmation of the manifestation of the emerging monolithic paradigm.  It is, however, this same paradigm that seeks to defeat and destroy everything it claims to protect.  It is from the same paradigm that seeds of polarity are sown.  The seeds from which the death of variety – be it thoughts, views, opinions and perception – emanate and propagate; the paradigm that sees difference in any aspect of life as animosity, division and forbidding the world its beauty of variety.

At this point, I think it is of utmost importance to give reference of what seemed so far to be a spiteful monologue aimed at the unknown.  It will not only be wiser, but perhaps even more important, to say why different strokes for different folks’ phenomenon should illuminate every aspect of life. From overrated concepts such as success, happiness and love to the most underrated ones such as compassion and intuition.

Concepts such as success are overly overrated and taken down a narrow tunnel of conception. Earl Nightingale, in his book The Strangest Secret, happens to be the only person who could have defined success in a much simpler and layman’s language.  According to him, success is the realisation of a worthy goal.  In other words, success is an achievement of a set goal, regardless of what it may be.

Therefore, if the world truly wants to free itself from the mental and emotional mess it may find itself in, then there is the antidote. He even goes further to simplify it with real-life examples:  That success is a mother whose only dream or goal was to be a good mother, and she is being good at it.  Success is a man, whose dream was to own a gas station, achieved it and doing well with it.  Simply said, a successful person is a person who sets a goal and achieves it.  It then also demonstrates that for a person with daily goals, success is not an event but is continuous, and a person with many goals will have many successes when these goals are achieved.

In conclusion, it is obvious to see just how even one simple concept that is misunderstood can make the world go round.  Clearly, at this point, one can also assume that such a simple concept must have been deliberately twisted and stripped of its beauty and innocence, only to serve a few at the expense of the masses. So, as we depart into the future, one of the utmost tasks of humankind must be to investigate many other concepts being devised to derail human progress to prosperity by first reminding and allowing all beings to set their goals by natural inclination without objectifying what is naturally intrinsic.
