Hotto Foundation donates equipment worth N$30 000

In efforts to fight inequality and support underprivileged students, Paheye Primary School in Omaruru received a major boost this past weekend when the Deon Hotto Foundation donated football and netball kits, stationery supplies and a laptop.

The donation to the Erongo region-based school amounts to N$30 000. Hotto is a Brave Warriors and South African club Orlando Pirates player, who is committed to supporting underprivileged students.

“Today’s donation demonstrates our unwavering commitment to creating a
brighter future for our underprivileged children, and to capacitate the school’s administration.

Let us remember that our collective efforts can drive lasting change and inspire. Together, we will continue to do more for the underprivileged children in our communities,” reads a statement by the foundation.

The foundation also revealed it will host its annual Deon Hotto Charity tournament in Omaruru from 28 to 30 June.
