RUNDU – Clementine’s Creations is set to host the second edition of the Rundu Fashion Show, aimed at promoting fashion designers from mainly the Kavango East region. 

The first edition took place last December and was hailed a success, as it impelled growth in the industry, leading to the second edition set for 3 December at Wera Café. 

Organ i ser Clement i ne Simbaranda is excited to stage another fashion extravaganza. 

“We are grateful for the support from Wera Café, as they will host us for free as part of their social responsibility. Last year, we had a very good turn-up, and we hope this time around it will be bigger and better,” she said. 

Seven designers will showcase collections, including a guest designer from Botswana. 

Simbaranda and her team are promising an awesome and thrilling red-carpet event. 

“We are inviting the public to support our event. Let’s make this a success. This is a platform to promote fashion, talent and modelling, so let’s turn up and make it an event to remember,” she urged. 

Simbaranda, a model and influencer, invited sponsors to come on board, saying they can support them with anything the show might need. 

“We are just young people trying to promote young talents as well as keep young people busy, but we need support from businesses and the general public. Support is not always about money; you can join us in event preparation or providing transport. Every little thing counts,” she noted.
